Through the funding of the Innovative Teaching Grant program, the NLRPEF has supported a variety of learning initiatives to enhance classroom instruction. Innovative teaching grants have:
Provided additional funds to classroom teachers.
Been awarded at all schools in the NLRSD.
Encouraged innovative and creative teaching.
Been presented K-12 in all subject areas.
Allowed for teachers to extend beyond traditional budgetary constraints.
